On History’s Heels

Branding & Exhibition

Objective
Design a museum exhibition that will increase female traffic to the establishment.

Execution

Bold playful type, bright colors, color overlays, and flat illustrations are combined to give the graphics a casual and fun feel.

To maximize the experience for the people at this event I chose to lean into scale to create a bold, graphic environment with shapes reminiscent of the nature patrons were gathered to celebrate and defend. A heart as a reoccurring container invokes the passion and love that conservationists have for their field and allows the system to be used and scaled for the smallest of applications, to the largest. Developing several icons with scenes and colors representing the spectrum of conservation allowed guests to identify themselves and their passions within the branding while also calling back to Douron’s brand colors.
